Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is the 2003 sequel to Crimson Skies released on the Xbox video game console. Originally announced in March 2002 with a fall release date, the release was postponed until October 2003.

The player controls the pirate Nathan Zachary through an arcade-style flying game including power-ups and CGI cut scenes. Split-screen, system-link and Xbox Live multiplayer modes allow up to 16 players to dogfight in six game types on five multiplayer maps. Downloadable content was also released (four new plans, two new planes and two new gametypes). At the core of the game is a campain mode.

[edit] Plot of story mode

During a long night at a casino, Nathan Zachary, leader of the Fortune Hunters, loses his zeppelin and Devastator to Louis "Wild Card" Thibodeaux in a poker game. Thibodeaux inturrupts Nathan in the morning, to collect his Devastator. Nathan stops him, and meets up with fellow fortune hunter Betty Charles. Together, they head to the Sea Haven island where the Rajin' Caluins' are hiding the Pandora. After shooting down all the guards, they take the zeppilin to search for Big John. After Nathan crashes into a radio tower, they search a volcanic island for Big John. After meeting up with their old friend Dr. Fasseinbinder, and clearing the harbor of Hollywood Militia planes, they find Big John running shipments for an arms dealer. Big John agrees to go back.

The soundtrack was released on CD, it contains 54 tracks from composer Stan LePard, and a bonus DVD with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround mixes of the game trailer and two cues from the soundtrack.
